Partners - Dale Eads
I used to be a fence!

Dale EadsDale Eads, owner of  Eads Fence Company - and Loveland Hardware has supported Granny's Garden School in a variety of ways over the years.  The help has come in the form of supporting Eagle Scout candidates with their projects, donating hundreds of dollars of deer fencing to protect some of our gardens, thousands of dollars in fencing rental for our spring garden party, use of his trucks for transporting plants and whatever else we've needed and too many other ways to mention here.

Dale came up with the idea to make birdhouses from used fencing to help reduce what goes into the landfill and to keep his people busy during the winter.  What is not used for the houses is bundled up and sold for firewood.  Always one to find multiple uses for whatever he does, Dale is also using it to support two of his favorite causes, Granny's Garden School and The Little Miami Inc. River Conservation.   You can checkout the birdhouses on his website and while there, take a look at the wonderful selection of fencing he offers.  Be sure and click on my favorite department, the Bargain Basement link.

If you happened to notice how great it's looking along the Loveland Bike Trail in the section that borders his business property, you can thank Dale and his passion for gardening and landscaping.  Here is the story of how he working with the city to save and restore the green space that is being threatened by "progress". Here is a recent article in the Cincinnati Business Courier about another of Dale's endevors in the city where he was born and raised.
