Internships
Do you need hands-on experience as part of a course of study?  Whether your focus is education, public relations or horticulture, we have  a place for you. No financial compensation is provided to interns.

Do you need teaching experience? Would you like to develop hands-on curriculum? Working as a classroom coordinator is an ideal position for someone who wants a first time experience with teaching children from first through fourth grades in an amazing atmosphere under the guidance of an experienced teacher. Prior gardening knowledge is helpful but not required.  We will teach you step by step.  The Class Garden Coordinator works with the teacher to plan garden activities, and leads the class in the activities.  If your focus is horticulture, you may consider assisting our trail or garden manager, help develop the herb gardens or class gardens.  If your focus is public relations, you can assist with developing all kinds of printed promotional material, write articles for newspapers and submission to magazines, write and follow up on news releases and represent the organization at special events.
