In the gardens:
Pam just finished the Master Garden
program conducted by the Hamilton County Extension
Agency. The final step to her becoming a Master
Gardener is to spend 50 hours volunteering with a
non-profit organization. That is what brought Pam
to Granny's Garden School but she is interested in more
than finishing her MG commitment. She believes in
our mission wants to become involved in a major way with
Granny's Garden School. Pam has adopted the area
know as our
Perennial and
Herb Gardens. You are invited to join Pam
and Granny in the gardens every Tuesday and Friday
morning.
Email
Granny for the exact time which changes
depending on the season. |

Dusty
Jones has been volunteering three hours each week,
spring-fall for five years. When volunteers come
regularly, they get to know their way around, become a part of
our team and are a great asset helping newer volunteers. |

Phyllis Carroll takes photographs
of the flowers and uses them to make beautiful note
cards we use to say, "Thank you!" to our donors. |

| Robert Ciseros
is our most senior volunteer at 82 years old (He says basketball
keeps him young. He plays three times a week.) Robert
comes periodically to tie tomatoes and remove four legged
creatures when they take up residence in the gardens. |
