Corporate Team Building

Our staff has experience working with groups as large as 70 people at one time.

Volunteering in the gardens is a great opportunity for team building and  we are very adept at working with small and large groups (up to 70). We have provided team building experiences for numerous small and large companies including Proctor & Gamble, Ethicon Endo Surgery, Inc., Duke Energy and U.S. Bank.

Volunteer events can be scheduled seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  You have the option of showing up that day and Granny or one of her staff will serve as the project manager.  Or, you may designate one or more members of your group to meet with Granny ahead of time, get the details of the project and take it from there.

Our projects usually include such things as laying down wood chips on the paths or compost in the gardens, edging around the gardens, servicing tools, small building or painting projects, planting seeds, weeding, harvesting produce for the food pantry and trail maintenance - depending on the season and needs of the gardens.

Your experience can be expanded to include a fundraising effort and/or securing donations of items on our Wish List before/after your visit.
