Keeping kids in touch
with nature

Turning kids on to growing,
cooking and eating organic produce
It was hot! We helped Granny with putting down compost and
mulch. Then we
had a popsicle and later we played in the sprinkler.

We harvested potatoes. Granny has red, white and purple potatoes
in the gardens!

We washed the potatoes, being
careful not to bruise them.
|
|
Then we cut them into pieces.
|
Look at all of the potatoes we prepared.
|
We made cucumber salad.
|
|
We made corny cornbread.
|
We roasted the potatoes on the grill.
|
It was the best meal yet!
