Mother's Day in Granny's Gardens

“All my hurts my garden spade can heal.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

As part of our celebration  of the 10th Anniversary of Granny's Garden School, this Mother's Day we are starting a new tradition.  We will open the gardens from Noon to 5 p.m. for children, young and old, to come with their mother's to pick a bouquet of flowers.  Yes, we know you can go to any florist in town and buy a big, fancy bouquet with a pretty face, but when you come to the gardens you've giving more than a bouquet. You're making a memory.

No need to register. Just come anytime during mother's day weekend.  Bring your own vase and scissors for cutting.  Water is available behind the dumpster which is next to the barn in the front courtyard.

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant."  Robert Louis Stevenson
