The day began sunny and beautiful.  We had loads of great plants to sell from local garden centers s well as from our gardens.  Lots of people were interested in buying the purple dames rocket that were blooming all around the gardens.  We kept having to explain the dames rocket is a biennial and after these finished blooming they would go to seed and the mother plant would die.
Bonnie Mitsui from Turner Farm in Indian Hill comes to our spring party each year and offers rides on the farm wagon pulled by her wonderful Clydesdales.
Granny takes time for a wagon ride with her two youngest grandchildren. Chris assist kids at the ever popular Take-Apart-Table Janet, a board member and an extraordinary volunteer helps a customer with buying plants.

About 3 p.m. it started to pour putting and end to the festivities.
