G ranny’s Winter Garden Party is a fundraiser to benefit Granny's
Garden School. The Hearts in Bloom cake decorating competition is an event at the party. There
are three categories: children, amateur and professional. There is no entry
fee to participate. After the competition, the cakes will be auctioned off at
the live auction and the proceeds donated to
the school This is a good way for children and beginners
to show their skills. For professionals, this is a good way to advertise
your business, you are encouraged to display your business cards after
the judging, and you will be listed on our website as a sponsor of the
event with a link to your website if you have one. Cakes will be judged
on appearance and decorating skill.
 RULES:
1. Entry forms must be received by February 5, 2008.
2. Each cake must have a specific title (ex. Chocolate Bombe) and a
card listing the ingredients
3. Cakes should be placed on disposable plates.
4. Cakes must arrive at the Loveland Greenhouse by 12:00, judging will
take place at 1:00.
5. Everything in or on the cake must be edible.
