Tools are stored in the "corral" which is located in the front courtyard garden area.
My favorite garden tool, by far, is a large pair of heavy duty dressmaker scissors.  I use them for loosening weeds cutting back plants, i.e. basil to keep it from going to seed and dead heading.  In a pinch, I'll use it to dig a hole for a small plant.  One day, I was working with a group of kids for the first time. One young man, after watching me use the scissors to dig out a weed, said, "That is not the proper way to use scissors."
Kids love using the tools! Make sure you have good control of your class when using any tools.  All tools are kept in the are known as the "corral."  When getting tools from this area, remember the art class is right next to it and often the windows are open.

Remember, it is your responsibility to make sure all tools are returned to the storage area and the lids on the containers are secure.
