Front Courtyard Gardens

“One day, the gardener realizes that what she is doing out there is actually teaching herself to garden by performing a series of experiments.”Margaret Roach

This garden area primarily consists of second and third grade classes.  This is the center for the garden program.

Most of our tools and general supplies are housed in a nook we call the "corral." This is where we keep all of our large tools, student-sized spades, trowels, wheelbarrows, wagons, buckets, and miscellaneous supplies. Please be sure that supplies in the corral are stored so water does not collect in them.  Wheelbarrows and wagons are stored in an upright position.  Buckets are stacked neatly in columns with the open end down.  Supplies in bins are stored with the lid closed.

Supplies for lessons and activities that need to remain dry are stored in the barn, including newer wagons that are used primarily by class garden coordinators

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant."  Robert Louis Stevenson
