“You cannot forget if you would, those golden kisses all over the cheeks of the meadow, queerly called “dandelions.” Henry Ward Beecher

  • The site of a number of Eagle Scout projects.  We now have a learning center, arbor, wood fence and deer fence around this area.  Please be sure the gates are closed when you leave the garden.
  • Compost Pile:  There is a large pile of decomposing leaves, an actual 3-bin compost station, and a pile of decomposing garden waste in the area of the gardens.  The 3-bin compost station is the wood structure at the top of the parking lot. Please cut material down to 1 foot or less in length before adding it.
  • Mulch Pile: There is a pile of wood chips in the corner of the parking lot that is used for mulching garden paths.  Each class is responsible for spreading the mulch in their path areas.

  • Safety: Please do not allow students to hang or climb on the fence.

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant."  Robert Louis Stevenson
