How to
When to

Sunflower seeds are one of the easier seeds to collect.  When dry, the seeds will pop right out.  Kids especially love gathering sunflower seeds.  Like other seeds, they should be spread out and allowed to dry before storing them loosely in paper bags.  Be sure the plants you are collecting from originally came from open pollinated, not hybred seeds or the seeds may be sterile or not produce plants true to form.  When packaging the large seeds, only place 5-6 in each each package.
