There are many options of what to do with you class during the next few weeks.  We will feature some of them in the next training class on September28, 9:30-11.
  • If your class has not planted seeds, it's probably too late to do it and expect to have a harvest before frost.
  • Have you done the weed lesson with your class?    If not, that should be on your plan for this week.
  • If you have a first grade class that is studying spiders, this is a good time to find spiderwebs.  As it gets cooler, they will be harder to find. Tip from environmental educator, Jane Gonzales - take a spray bottle of water with you.  Gently spray the web to make it easy to see.
  • Don't forget to record your volunteer hours and send an  e-mail report to Roberta.  Sample e-mail report.
  • If you have not already done so, please complete and submit the volunteer application.
Here is a link to our weekly activity calendar that tells me which classes are out when.  If your teacher's name is not listed or is listed incorrectly, please send me an update.
