To kick off the school year, we invite you to participate in Granny’s Potato Patch Adventure.  Grades 2, 3, and 4 are being scheduled on August 27 and 28, and grade 1 on August 29.  The focus will be discovering how potatoes grow and sampling parsley buttered potatoes and fresh veggies from the gardens.  The students will be participants in a graphing activity with the focus on circumference for 4th grade, weight for 3rd grade, length for 2nd grade, and eating preference for 1st grade. 

All you will have to do is show up at your garden with your students at your scheduled time.  Click here to see the available times and email me with your choice of day and time.  If you are unable to schedule within the guidelines above, please let me know.  We’ll arrange for a garden coordinator to work with your class. 

Please sign up as soon as possible, so we can let parent volunteers know when their child's class is coming out, and you can get the time that works best for you.
