There are many ways you can get involved with Granny's Garden School.  We utilize volunteers in a variety of ways.  You can browse the opportunities on the left or give Granny a call at 513-324-2873 to discuss other possibilities.  Below is how some individuals support us in our mission. Our "Partners" are businesses, organizations and individuals have donated significant amounts of services and/or products, financial or other support to the garden program.
  • Kristin Hamilton edits our videos.
  • Roy Mastromauro provides internet research assistance.
  • Jim O'Keefe is spearheading an effort to establish an endowment fund.
  • Dusty Jones has volunteered eight hours each week to help in the gardens, for three years.
  • John Turner uses his large earth moving equipment to help us manage our compost pile.
  • Ralph Child, seed potato grower in New York donates potatoes for the students to plant. To avoid exorbitant shipping cost he arranges to have them included with a large shipment to a farmer outside of Columbus.  Parent Mark Haberer goes that way frequently. Each year, he picks up the potatoes and brings them to the school.
  • Danielle Hollingsworth takes photographs of families in the gardens and donates half of her fee to the garden program.
  • Janet Fahrenbruck-Lynch maintains our media list and connects with high schools and universities to recruit community service volunteers.
